Patrick Kavanagh in the Snow

The Patrick Kavanagh sculpture by the Grand Canal, Dublin cooling off the morning after St Patrick's day 2018.

On this freezing morning in Dublin I set out early to capture the incoming batch of snow, I knew the location of the Patrick Kavanagh statue on The Grand Canal would look magical as daylight arrived and the snow fell.
It was even more beautiful than I could have imagined, the area was unspoilt and became more mystical as every wave of snow passed.

This print is printed on Epson Enhanced Matte 192 gm paper, the paper yields highly saturated images, while maintaining highlight and shadow detail.
