Sunrise from Gordes

Looking out from the town view point in Gordes just after sunrise, over the misty valleys and vineyards of the beautiful Cote d'Azur on a September morning.

It was very much worth the early morning walk from the other side of town to take in this view, wandering through the narrow cobblestone streets and up Chemin de Bel air as dawn started to brighten the sky. A vista of the view across the valleys started to unfold as I climbed higher towards the view point on Route de Cavaillon, mist rolled through the vineyards, trees and valleys as the sun started to rise...

I would highly recommend a visit to the wonderful hilltop town if you are in the area.
